WTIF was set up in 2011 by a group of researchers with vigor for challenges, advancements in science, technology and operations.
Our team gathers people with scientific degrees in engineering and mathematics (D.Sc., M.Sc. and B.Sc.) as well practitioners in the field of maritime transportation and ships operations (Chief Mates and Master Mariners).

Advanced models for waterborne traffic risk (depending on vessel type) by integrating geographic spatial analysis, human behavior models, and engineering analysis (e.g., hydrodynamic or structural) into one model.
